We offer additional services in addition to chiropractic care. The following are the different types of massage that we offer.
Massage Techniques
Theraputic (Deep Tissue) Massage:The problem area is diagnosed and worked on with the focus on helping the body heal. Sometimes elbows, forearms or thumbs are utilized to obtain optimum results.
Swedish Massage: From the French definition of massage "friction of kneading". Strokes are used to stimulate circulation and revive the system.
Neuro-Muscular Massage: Quasi-Static pressure applied to the skin with the aim of stimulating specific areas.
Pre-Natal Massage: For expecting mother, to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility. In conjunction with regular chiropractic care, it may ease the birthing process.
Trigger Point Therapy: Applying pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfuntion in other parts of the body.
Sports Massage: Designed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after an event or to function better during training.
Chair Massage: This type of massage is done fully clothed in a seated position focusing mostly on the head, neck and shoulder areas.
Corporate Event Chair Massage: Company may request that we come to place of business and set up chair massages for their employees / clients / patients, etc. Very popular!
We also offer Muscle Stimulation, Intersegmental Traction, UltraSound, Traction Chair as well as having a True Stretch Cage on the premises for all patients to use at their convenience.
